作品簡介｜        

 

　　世界上某個角落，有一座蝸牛島嶼。島上的居民被稱之為「依魯」，是一個出生時即揹著殼的奇特種族，每隻依魯的殼上，都有一個獨一無二的神秘符號。而隨著年紀越來越大，殼也會越來越重，直到被壓垮的那刻，就是他們壽命的終結。

 

　　小依魯達瓦相信著傳說：「只要能到星月大陸，找到女神阿依達，祂就能告訴你背上符號的含義，幫助你褪下身上的殼。」於是，帶著拯救族人的夢想，達瓦踏上了旅程。

 

　　Somewhere upon this world, lies a secluded Isle named Snail Island. The residents of this island were of a very special kind and called themselves "Ilu". Every Ilu was born with a shell on their backs, and a sign engraved on each of them. No signs were alike, making each one unique, however, no one understood or solved the meaning behind these signs. As Ilu aged, their shell would grow larger and larger, and finally when the weight became too much, Ilu will crumble beneath their burdened shell, thus marking the end of an Ilu's life.

 

　　This had been the way of life for all Ilu, but among them, was the young Dawa, who believed in an ancient tale:"Whoever can venture out to the Land of Stars and Moon, and find the Goddess Amayi, can have the meaning of their own sign explained by Amayi, therefore enabling the shells to be removed." And so, with the hope of rescuing all Ilu, Dawa set out on an adventurous journey.

 

 

創作動機｜        

 

那時侯坐在從天母回政大的車上，搖搖晃晃地，看著上下車的人，突然冒出這個故事。

 

人一生到底在追求什麼？

好像或多或少、或輕或重都背著一個重擔。

又有多少人能是快樂的呢？

要怎麼在人群中保持自己，不因爲時間而變得呆滯？

 

然後，一個個殼就突然冒在每一個人的身上了，

公車、捷運上、想像著他們長著殼的模樣，偶爾看得入神忘記下車。
